My Question on 5/6/06 is gone ?

I posted a reply on 5/6/06 "" Why does Outlook2000 not send attachments any
more ? The post is no longer on your display ? Around Apr.23 it stopped
sending attachments like .pps , .wmv , .pdf etc...
The message goes to my server ( SBC/ATT/YAHOO) and sends anywhere from 10 to
24 times the same message with no attachment and about 5 screens of letters &
numbers (jibbersh) ?? Whats up ? Is it Outlook2000-----Norton 2006 Internet
Security or my sbc/yahoo server ?

That "gibberish" _is_ your attachment. If the message is being sent more
than once and is being disrupted, disable scanning mail (especially outgoing
mail) with your NIS application, lengthen the server timeout value on the
Advanced tab of your account properties, and increase your send/receive
interval.

You would be much better off using a newsreader instead of the cruddy web
interface.

Whats a newsreader ? Not everyone is up on all the in's and out's of this
site at least I'm not ? I just wanted some help on my issues and thought this
would be a good way to get help and ANSWER'S !

Whats a newsreader ? Not everyone is up on all the in's and out's of
this site at least I'm not ? I just wanted some help on my issues and
thought this would be a good way to get help and ANSWER'S !

Well you have one on your machine already. Outlook Express.

Did you try completely uninstalling Norton while you experiment SOmetimes
that's necessary with Symantec products.
