My resources cannot view their tasks in Prokect Server 2003 task t

My resources cannot view their tasks in Project Server 2003 task tab. I have
created tasks on the added them as a resource, Published the assignments.
They only can view the "Totals Line". They cannot add their time in timesheet
view either. I think we have the security set up correctly.

Did you click Collaborate - Publish - New and Changed Assignments to publish
their work?

Do the resources have the "Current tasks" option selected in the sidepane of
the View My Tasks Page? If so, what happens when they click the "All Tasks"
option?

I think I figured it out. I read a similiar post where someone suggested to
go to the resources sheet and commit the resource. Once I committed the
resource, they were able to view the tasks and enter time. Unfortunatly they
can also reject the task. Since we are still in the implementation stage of
MS Project Server, it seemed to work well.

The default behavior of Project Server is not to publish the assignments for
Proposed resources. Hope this helps.
