My Resources & My Direct Reports [2007]

Hello,
How is defined the hierarchy between the Resource Manager and the resources?
Same question between "me" and My Direct Reports.
How the RBS intervene (or not) in these relationships?
Thanks

It's the RBS (Resource Breakdown Structure) that defines this relationship.

Example RBS

MyOrg
------>Dept x Director
---------->Dept Sub Team Manager
----------------->Sub Team Staff

Role RBS
CEO MyOrg
CIO Dept x Manager
IS Manager Dept Sub Team Manager
IS Engineer Sub Team Staff

My direct reports for the CEO are any resource with an RBS value one layer
below his, so in this example it would be the CIO.

My Resources for the CEO are all resources which are directly below his in
the RBS.

My direct reports for the CIO is the IS Manager.
