My Resources Unsubmitted Timesheets not working (MSPS 2007)

G

Gary Zag

When I go to Tmesheet Approvals and select "My Resources Unsubmitted
Timesheets" and click Apply I never see any timesheets. I only see
timesheeets once they are submitted for approval.

I configured myself as an administrators to give miall rights and still can
not see any unsubmitted timesheets.

Any help? Bug?

You must be set as a user's Timesheet Manager in order to see their
Unsubmitted Timesheets. So, for example, if your organization is not
using Fixed Approval Routing and you are a secondary approver, you will
not see anything in My Resources Unsubmitted Timesheets.

I am configured as the resource's timesheet manager. We do not have Fixed
Approval Routing enabled because we need to send timesheets to another
manager when the configured timesheet manager is out off the office. When a
resource submits his timesheet I show as the approver. When they submit the
timesheet they then show up under the Pending My Approval.

I'm not sure what the issue could be, then... we've already established
that you are set as the Timesheet Manager for at least some of the
resources, and your patchlevel is current.

I hope I don't offend you with my next question, but I have to ask
because I don't have anywhere else to go: are you clicking "Apply" after
selecting the "My Resources Unsubmitted Timesheets" radio button?

When you select the "My Resources Unsubmitted Timesheets" radio button
and click "Apply", the page simply calls the ReadTimesheetsToAdjust()
method of the TimeSheet web service, which has no group or category
permission requirement - it simply retrieves all the timesheets that
have the current user as the timesheet manager.
