My Rules and Alerts stopped wokring?

All of a suddent my email rules stopped working, and messages are staying in
my inbox rather than being directed into their respective folders.

Any ideas as to what may have caused this?

I had the exact same problem. The only recent change on my PC were some MS
Updates. One of which was for Outlook 2007 (KB952142). I unintstalled it
and like magic my rule started working as before. Hope this helps.

Dear John,

I am unable to uninstall KB952142. XP will allow me to fix it, but I can't
seem to get rid of it. I am so tired of having my Rules & Alerts not working.

Any ideas?
