my shift+f3 option to convert the text case doesn't work?????

using office 2003, can't seen to get the shift + f3 option to change the
case, for some reason I get a capital Y, any ideas anyone please

Hi Alan-

Can't explain why, because even the WordPerfect options don't cause that
behavior, but perhaps this will help troubleshoot/fix.

Go to Tools>Customize>Commands & click the Keyboard button. Click in the box
labeled 'Press new shortcut key' & type Shift+F3 to see what appears as
"Currently Assigned to" (directly below). Use that same dialog box to
reassign the keystroke to the Format>ChangeCase command if necessary.

If the shortcut shows as currently assigned to the ChangeCase commandas it
should be, but still doesn't work right, post back with details.
