My slides are blank during the slide show

I am running PP 2003 and have a picture heavy presentation. When I open the
file and let all the pictures load, then start the slide show I loss some
picture at the end and the slide is blank. How do I fix this problem?

Hi Sue

What size is the file? I would probably start by compressing the pictures as
they are probably bigger than they need to be (double click a picture ->
picture tab -> compress -> apply to all pictures in document -> ok). Do this
on a copy of your ppt in case you don't like the result :) Oh and make sure
you have fast saves turned off (tools -> options -> save -> untick allow fast
saves).

If that doesn't help try this:
How to set graphics hardware acceleration back
http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00129.htm

If that does't help come back to us telling us how you added the pictures.

I have 2 PowerPoints hyperlinked to a PowerPoint menu. The combined size of
the Powerpoints is 290 MB with about 200 slides. After about 140 slides, the
slides are blank. I am now running Windows 7 and PP 2003. All of these
presentations ran in full with XP. I turned off the fast save and visited the
website on hardware acceleration, but there were no directions for Windows 7.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

My HP Pavilion specs are:

Processor Family: Intel Core 2 Quad
RAM: 8 GB
Storage Capacity: 750 GB
RAID: No
Graphics Card: Integrated Intel GMA X4500HD
Primary Optical Drive: Dual-Layer DVD+/-RW

How do I upgrade a driver? This is over my head!
