my sound won't play

Student Using PowerPoint

i use powerpoint 2000 and was trying to create a presentation (wheel of
fortune powerpoint game), but all the other sounds would work except for the
catchy-sounding theme music. why does this happen, and can anyone give me a
suggestion as to how to fix this problem?

Are you trying to play two embedded sounds at the same time? If so you will
need to link at least one.

yes, i am playing music and voice narration; how do i link a sound, and is it
optional as to which sound i link?
