My Spell check will not work

I have been using the free trial download of Office 2007; yesterday I
downloaded the full version from a CD. I opened up a document that I had been
working on in the trial version and spell check no longer worked. It has been
working in the trail version and in my old 2003 version. When I type a work
that is misspelled no red lines come up and if I go to review, and then
spelling and grammar check it come back saying the check is complete but has
not actually checked the words. The same thing happens if I hit F7. I tried
this in many different documents including new and old ones.
I also tried different programs (power point and publisher) and when I do I
spell check there it does not work either.

I have tried everything to fix it that I can think of.

First, I deleted Office and then reinstalled it. Then I looked online: My
settings under proofs are all fine. Hide spelling errors is not checked,
check spelling as I type is checked. My language is set in English (US) and I
high lighted everything and then rechecked all of the above and it is fine.
Then I went to the websites recommend on different posts from here and
follow all the instructions and still nothing.

Check for the presence and if found delete the
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Proofing
Tools\1.0\Override"
registry key

Can you tell me where I need look for this? I am having the same problem as

In the Windows Registry. On the Windows Taskbar, click Start | Run, type

regedit

and press Enter. The Registry is organized in a tree similar to the way
files are represented in Windows Explorer (My Computer). Select the
HKEY_CURRENT_USER branch and open up the branches under it to get to the
specified item.
