My spell checker is only available in French. How do I get English

I went into my options in email to check my settings because my spell checker
was asking for every word. I found out that it is set to french. When I
pulled down the menu there was nowhere to select English. Is ther a download
available? Is there a reason why this happened.

Did you install the English proofing tools when installing your version of
Office?
In the Office menu in the Start Menu, there is also an Office Tools section
with a link to the Language settings for Office. You can use that to set
your default languages and see which languages are installed.

You no longer have spell checking capabilities in some languages in Outlook
after you install the 2007 Microsoft Office system:

If you have a previous version of Office, see this:

Downloading a free spell check is the simplest way around this.
