My tab key stopped tabbing and started toggling

ok. i probably hit the wrong series of keys some time
today.

now, every time i hit tab it will not go over. also, i
cannot paintbrush new text to make it tab over.

what does happen is that when I do hit tab AND i have more
than one document open, i now can toggle back and forth
between two documents.

i just want the tab key to work like usual.

help!!

It sounds to me as if one of the the Alt keys is stuck
down. Try tapping both Alt keys to see if they are stuck.
