My Tables are not ending at the right margin

The right side of my table ran off of the page. I am not sure what to look
for but the margin appears mark as normal.

Tables can, and will. When this happens to me, I click inside the table, hit
Table-->Properties, and set the Table width to 100%, which should set the
margins better. If that doesn't work, set it to the width of your paper less
the margin in inches or cm or whatever you're using.

A different way to adjust table width to the margins of the page:

1. Place the cursor inside the table.

2. On the Table menu, click AutoFit, and then click AutoFit to Window.

3. (Optional:) On the Table menu, click AutoFit, and then click Fixed
Column Width. This sets fixed column widths, and turns off the
terrible "Automatically resize to fit contents" option in the Table
Options dialog box (available via Table>Table Properties, Table tab,
Options button).

There is also (at least in Word 2003) a Compatibility Option to "Allow
tables to extend into margins." If this option is not enabled, presumably
tables will be constrained to the margins.
