My Task View in Project Web Access (PWA)

We have a farm deploymennt of Project Server 2007, and one of the resoucres
can open PWA and view Projects and Status Report with no problems, but when
selecting the option to view My Task the URL refreshes properly to
http://servername/instancename/task.aspx but fails to display any data (1100+
new task). This was thought to be initially an issue of time required for the
display to refresh but waiting 4 hours has proved fruitless. A secondary test
instance on the same farm for the same user functions flawlessly to display
the task view (1600+ new tasks). A search of the knowledgebase and hotfixes
has not turned up any direction for a solution.

It should be noted that this person is a resource on 12 child projects
connected to a single master project.

Can anyone please recommend a solution short of removing the account (which
has hours and time associated with the project) and recreating.

Paul,

The problem is that the 1600+ will display on one isntance of PWA while on
another 1100+ will not. For the instance that will not display the screen
will not even paint to allow the option to display the option for setting the
view to current tasks. I have some screenshots that I can send.

Sorry I read my replay and thougut this also might help out.
PWA Instance1 has 1600+ tasks for User Account1 and My Task view functions
and displays properly.
PWA Instance2 has 1100+ tasks for User Account1 and My Task view fails to
even paint the functions to change the task view. That section of the display
is a white screen where the tasks and controls should be displayed.

PWA Instance1 = http://easohsas01/pwa
PWA Instance2 = http://easohsas01/aerospace
User Account1 is for the same individual in both instances.

Agreed the dataset will be huge. The resource has been newly added to the
project that has a single master plan and twelve child plan in it, for a
total number of tasks around 28,000 for all plans combined.
The issue is that in PWA Instance1 (see details below) he has 1600+ new
tasks that are reported on the main/home page of PWA and the respons time to
paint the screen properly to make updates to task is maybe two seconds. While
PWA Instance2 (see details below) reports just over 1100 new task on the
main/home page as new task assignments. For this instance when My Task link
is selected the screen will only display a white screen where the Task and
controls for Task should be displayed. After 4+ hours of waiting there is no
change in the display and no functional way to try and limit the number of
tasks that are being extracted to return to the My Task view. My first
thought was that the number of tasks was the issue and it was a matter of
time before the view would paint but 4+ hours should have been more than
enough.

Paul,

Again sorry I should add that of the total task the issue with the one
person does not account for all the tasks in the plan. We have around 40
resources or persons using the tool asisgned to tasks with most tasks
assigned to a single resource.
