hi;
thanks for ur last responses.i am using MSPS 2007.i have new questions
1)i wanna know if it is feasible to dont show completed tasks in my tasks
page.if yes,plz tell me how?
2)i wanna define tasks and assign them to my resources but i dont want
define these in project.i want these tasks be just as task not tasks of a
project.plz help me.

Hi Shima,
1. Completed tasks drop off the task list once they are older than the
number of days (default 10) defined in the Task Settings and Display | Define
Current Tasks field.

2. EPM is a project management system, basically all tasks need to be part
of a project. However, you can do this in WSS. On the PWA home page, click
on documents on the links menu, click Create, and click project tasks. This
allows you to create and assign tasks out side of projects, basically just a
WSS list and a Gantt chart view.
