My Tasks (tasks.aspx) doesn't work on my machine, but does on othe

It would appear that something on my machine has broken. When I go to the
homepage of our project server site it won't even load if the My Tasks
webpart is on the page. If I remove it and reload the page everything works
fine. All of the other users in my dept are able to get to the page whether
My Tasks is on the page or not. Any thoughts?

I am the admin (I know, I know, I should be able to fix this, I'm the admin)
so I have rights to login and make server level changes, just need help
figuring out what is wrong. Since it's only on my machine I assume it has
something to do with my configuration (IE 8 on Win 7 Ultimate). the other
users are on WinXP and Vista using IE 7.

Can this be related to ActiveX?
In your browser option, have you enabled activex download?

Hi Mike,

have you tried to login on a different machine? Do you see the same there?
Do you get any error message? Or does not load mean that you see a blank
site?

Barbara

Mike:

It sounds like one of your assignments had become corrupted and is
preventing the web part from working correctly.

I agree with Gary's comment that you probably have a corrupted
assignment. I had the same problem last week. I deleted the
"publsihed" version of the project I had been working on, then
"published" it again and that cleared the problem.

Jay
