My Tasks view doesn't update to previous version after rejecting u

Hello,

I'm using Project Server 2007 on Win XP Pro. My problem is connected with
updating tasks, after these steps:
1. User changes status of his task (for example: his progress of the task)
and then saves and submits these changes.
2. His manager rejects changes made by the user and publish his decision in
the project.
User gets the info about rejection, but still sees changes made by him and
can't get previous task status (the status before changes made by user). On
the other hand when you look at project in Project Center task status is
correct (without changes made by user), the same thing is seen when you edit
the project file in MS Project.
I've tried publishing decision about rejecting from the project file and
from Approvals->Applied Task Update Requests and Errors and user still can't
get the correct view.

I will be very grateful if you can help me.

Thanks,
szymen

When a PM rejects a task update, Project Server 2007 does not reset the
task's original status on the My Tasks page. Microsoft's assumption is that
the team member needs to correct the numbers and resubmit the update. So,
tell the team member to edit his/her numbers and then resubmit the task
update for approval. Hope this helps.

I had similar problem, When PM Rejected the hours, There were no hours displayed on PWA and user had no idea what to do. When i checked MSP_Tasks table the actual hours and remainig hours matched the Project Plan. Can you please let me know why the data diappeared on PWA. PM tried to republish it again, this didn't help
