My Tasks View question

I have a client is using Project Server 2007 to collect schedule data
from about 150 resources. They are getting complaints about the My
Tasks views not synching up with their Project Center views after
submitting tasks and having them approved (and published).

My questions is: At what point is the My Tasks view synched up with
the published plan? I would assume everytime the schedule is
published, but it doesn't appear to be doing so. The Project Center
views are synching up (Start, Finish, Acutal Start, Actual Finish are
the fields that I checked), but the My Tasks view do not always appear
to synch upon publishing. Any ideas.

the syncrinasation should happen more or less real time after publishing the
project. I have not seen that the Project Center was syncronised but not my
tasks. what I can recommend is checking the queue. It can be that some
syncronisations are still pending in the queue, but usually that is only a
question of seconds ( maybe minutes on very rare occations) before there are
processes.
Does this happen all the time or only somthimes or only with some projects?

Wow.... I have 1 or 2 uses complaining about the same thing. I was just
writting it off to "they think" they save and submitted updates via PWA. I
too have over 150 active projects... so as project manager it's difficut to
track all updates comming in. Also (as per privious post here.... we have 10
associates with Project Manager Rights). But I'd be interested if this
indeed is a real bug.

Hi Marc,

Up until a month or so ago we were having a queue freeze issue but i
believe we have taken care of that. Every now and then I'll check the
queue in the morning and the queue will be processing a "reporting"
job that is scheduled at 1am everymorning. After restarting the queue
service, this resolves this problem.

As for the My Tasks issue, we have recieved complaints from several
users. It it hard to troubleshoot each one, but I have validated
several. I have not however been able to recreate the issue in our
developement environment. Is there a way to "reset" the My Tasks view?
