My Templates

I installed Office:mac2008. I had the 2004 version before with templates I created. I can no longer find, in either version, the "My Templates" that were created in the 2004 version.

Are they hidden or lost forever?

I answered my own question. They were not in the "My Templates" in my applications folder but when I searched using spotlight and clicked on the "my templates" folder that Spotlight found (supposedly the same one), they were there.

If you are using Leopard and have Time Machine runnin, you can go back
to a time before you (presumably) got rid of 2004 -- and find them.

I'm not sure about other backup programs.

Any daily backup system will enable that :)

However, I suspect that in this user's case she is confused because the
template locations are different in Word 2008. You have to navigate to the
old template location and move the customised templates to the new location.

Cheers
