My time and date have wrongly come due to error on time option

My date on mails sent to outsiders was wrong as my date was wrong which
happened due to my system date being set wrongly ( for example on mails sent
on 24 jan 07 the date in outbox is coming as 24 feb 07 ) how to correct this
as this is an evidence of my work done during that day and sorting data by
received or sent date is also required

Sort your received items on the "Sent" time and date. Since this one is
determined by the time set on the machine of the sender relative to your
time zone.

For your Sent Items I guess you're out of luck but you can always tag these
messages like for instance by a category.
