My Timesheet Showing up as a Project ???

S

Shawn Everingham

checking out resource capacity and availability in one of our larger
enterprise projects, we see under other projects on the resource sheet ' My
Timesheet ' with planned hours...or maybe its actual hours. Not only once,
but several times...

I've seen this elsewhere in other views also...question is, why is My
Timesheet as project? why is My Timesheet showing up with actual work...this
kinda crap scares me...

Thanks in advance...shawn

I believe you are describing the default behavior of the Resource Usage
view, which is to show each project team member's work in other enterprise
projects and actuals from the Timesheet as well. If you do not want to see
this, do the following:

1. While in Microsoft Project 2007, click Tools - Enterprise Options -
Microsoft Office Project Server Accounts.
2. Select the "Manually control connection state" option.
3. Click the OK button.
4. Exit and relaunch Microsoft Project 2007.
5. In the Login dialog, deselect the "Load summary resource assignments"
option.
6. Click the OK button.
