We are running Project Server 2007 SP1 December CU and using My
Timesheets to capture resource actual hours worked per day.
When a project is complete, we close all the tasks to update via
Server Settings -> Close Tasks to Update. This removes those tasks
from appearing in the pop up window when a user clicks on My
Timesheets -> Add Lines. However, even when all tasks in a project
are closed to update, the project name still appears as an existing
assignment in the Add Lines window, and users are still allowed to add
the project name to their timesheets and charge time against it. We
would like to prevent them from being able to do so.
What do we need to do to remove the project name of a closed project
from the My Timesheets -> Add Lines window? Is there a functional
reason for this behavior that I am not considering?
