Hello, friends. I'm new to using M Publisher to build a website. I built some
websites and they are correctly viewed in IE, but cannot be viewed inj
Firefox and nestcape. Also I would like the wesite to be centered on all
screens or monitors. Could you please help me solve these problem? Here is
one of the websites: www.electronicsstations.com . Thanks in advance

First of all, which version of Publisher are you using? The directions for
centering pages varies with the version.

It appears that you are using a master page. Don't. Move all the content off
the master page if you want it visible in FF.

Great site! One of the better examples of an ecommerce site built with
Publisher that I have seen.

Are you using a master page for the background template?

Centering is possible sometimes...search this ng for suggestions.

IMO you're pushing the envelope of what can be done with Publisher with your
site, you may want to move on to another design tool...like; Dreamweaver,
Expression Web, etc.

I think the site illustrates what can be done with Publisher, and that it
isn't the tool...its the person that wield the tool. It illustrates what I
was trying to say to you about inserting paypal code and embedding video
players. If you have the ability to figure out the code, then you can insert
it and use it in Publisher webs...just sayn'. ;-)

i know i know...it's just that you will end up hitting that invisible wall
sooner or later...probably better for some people if they hit it sooner
before they invest a lot of time.

I agree, and you will continue to see me recommend to people that they use
Web Expression or something like it if they have plans that are beyond the
scope of Publisher. I just wanted you to see a pretty sophisticated and well
built site IMHO, so you would see how one can push the envelop. Heck, that
is what I have been doing for years. Each time I hit the invisible wall, I
just figure out a different way to do what I want. In fact, in my case the
limitations of using Publisher has kept me from going to far...and KISS. And
by the way, I still use Pub 2000 for my web work...it is simpler and more
basic code...and less of it ;-)

later...and thanks again for your help.

Before I go...have you been seeing any problems with HTTP uploading protocol
with FPSE with Vista...FrontPage or Web Expression? It is beginning to sound
like Vista is stopping the ability to upload Pub web pages with FPSE....at
least with Pub 2007.

installing Vista...it's still sitting on my desk not sure I want to mess
with it yet.

I have IE7 installed on my test partition with XP, but that is all. And I
haven't installed Vista yet. I think I may have to do a virtual drive as it
takes so much space and my hard drive is already pretty full. Even then it
will be for testing only. I bought an extra copy of XP to keep in reserve in
case I can't get a machine with XP when it comes time. I have read no good
reasons to go Vista...
