My website's format and layout appears incorrect in some browsers.

Hello, I've used FrontPage 2003 to design and publish my website
(keykey.co.uk). Everything was going great, however, I've now discovered that
(although when opening my website in my browser at home (internet explorer
6) it works perfectly) when opening in any other brower, (including IE 5,
netscape etc), the layout and font are distorted. Forexample, my website is
saved in Gill sans, but it appears in Times New Roman in other browsers. That
I suppose I can cope with, but my layouts all appear distorted! If you take a
look at my page, you'll see that at the top there's a 'currently in
construction' banner. This should be in the middle of the two little workers,
but, as I'm sure you can see, it's not!

Please help! I'm ready to update and go into action, but this little problem
is holding me back.

Did you provide a generic font if Gills was not present on the server?

the issue with the font is that it depends on whether the user has that font on
their computer - it is not 'included' or 'embedded' in the site itself. So if
the user doesn't have a particular font you're using, it displays a 'default'
font, most commonly something like Times Roman or Arial.

Search Google for "web safe fonts" for further info on what to use and what not
to. If you need to use a certain font, create an image of it, and restrict use
of that font to say titles or banner images.
