My Word is malfunctioning?

Every time I cut or copy an item and then attempt to paste it, instead of
pasting the item I have cut or copied Word pastes a screenshot instead. I
have no idea why this is happening or how to fix it. I have tried a system
restore and detect and repair but nothing works. Does anyone have any ideas?
All help would be more than gratefully recieved.

Herb. Many thanks for the advice. Unfortunately none of the suggestions in
the thread you pointed me to solved the problem. Would you have any other
suggestions. Thank you
