I am using the UI to insert a styleref field in the header of my Word 2007
document. From the Insert ribbon, I select Quick Parts and then Field. I
select the StyleRef field and under Style name I select Heading 1. I don't do
anything else - I click OK and this is what I get:
/Install and Configure the Investigation Server
What is causing the forward slash? I did shift F9 to look at the code and it
looks just like it did in Word 2000 where this worked fine:
{STYLEREF "Heading 1" \* MERGEFORMAT }
In the Heading 1 that I want to reference, I have verified that there is
nothing but a space between the chapter number and chapter name. I do use a
different character style for the chapter number - but like I said - this
worked in Word 2000.
I'll appreciate any help that someone can provide.
