Mysterious number

Tonso

I have an XL2002 chart, that, above the plot area, appears the number
"1". It does not appear to be a drawn object, and it is not part of
the title. It appears to be a part of the chart, or iimbedded in the
chart. When I move the chart, it moves. How can I rid myself of this?
(I did not create the chart.)

thanks!

Hi Tonso

It might be a text box? If you click on it do you see a hashed border?
Then press Delete.

If you are having a hard time selecting it you might be able to pluck it
out by clicking anywhere in the chart, then stepping through the various
objects by pressing right or left arrow.
