Mystery email address

I have a user that when she types in an email address (there's acutually a
couple of email addresses this is happening on) it does the auto complete BUT
it's putting in an incorrect address - domain is mispelled (example:
(e-mail address removed) and it should be (e-mail address removed))- and I can't find it in the
contacts or anywhere else. I deleted the contact (in the example
(e-mail address removed)) and re-entered and it's still coming up ([email protected]). I ran the
virus scanner and found nothing. She's using outlook 2000. Where is that
crazy address coming from!?

Verify your version. Outlook 2000 has no autocomplete function.

oops, sorry, the outlook version is 2002 SP3. it's running on a Windows 2000
Pro machine.

Then the information is stored in the autocompletion cache. Remove
individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by highlighting the entry
when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to migrate to
the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of the field.
To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions here:
