While doing a normal shutdown of WinXP Pro today I got a message that the
program AIGIJH.EXE was having difficulty shutting down. This is the first time
I have ever seen a reference to this program/file.
I maintain auto-updated Norton firewall and anti-virus in addition to Ad-Aware
protection and performed a full c:\ scan just yesterday.
I did a search on my hard drive for the file. It only appears in the
c:\windows\prefetch folder as follows:
AIGIJH32.EXE-01615C1D.pf
The program/file does not appear in my startups or my task manager.
I did a Google search for the file name and got no results - the first time I
can ever recall not getting a single hit on a file name.
I did a reinstall of GoToMyPc and Newsstand Reader this morning, shortly before
this event occurred, but I could have sworn I had rebooted multiple times before
this filename message appeared.
Has anyone ever seen this particular file?
It is possible it is just a leftover from one of the earlier installations?
Any help would be appreciated.
