Nachi Worm

Hi,

I have just discovered, via McAfee, that I have contracted
the Nachi worm, and have had to delete DLLHOST.EXE and
SVCHOST.EXE which were both infected and unrepairable.

Things still appear to be working as well as when they
were installed. I have tried to find the programs on my
Windows 2000 Pro CD and on my Small Business Office CD to
replace the deleted ones, but they are not to be found
anywhere, (though there is reference to some files, (not
programs), on the 2000 CD).

What do these programs do, and where can I find CLEAN ones
to reinstall please.

Presumably McAfee has same info, but I dont use.
If youre using WinXP ensure firewall is enabled - see help

The files you referenced as added are not required, assuming you used McAfee
to remove.
