Is it possible to put a name in place of the "A" at the top of the column? How do I do it?

Dave.

No, is not possible.

Alternative..........

Place names/titles in Row 1 then select A2 and Window>Freeze Panes to keep
these in view as yoi scroll down.

Tools>Options>View. Uncheck "Row and Column Headers".

You can't change the column letter to a name.

However, you can enter the names in row one.
Then, click on the row 2 button to select that row.
Choose Window>Freeze Panes

This will lock the headings in place, so you can always see them as you
scroll down the worksheet.

Thank you, I hate can't do people, don't you

Ooooh, such a harsh word 'hate'. :-(

I do hope that you're not rag'in on Peo Sjoblom who DID give you a specific answer to your specific question

Thankfully, there were other people here who offered alternatives for which you did not ask. Hope you realize that you still CAN'T do what you asked for originally, ie: change the column label to one of your choosing

How do you feel about people who don't know how to ask for what they want
