Name Badges

I am creating name badges with four lines. The top and bottom lines are
logos. The second is the name field and the third line is the company
name. Is there a way to create a template that enables the name and
company to be automatically sized to fit the line? For example, Ed Ho
can print larger than Margaret Mary Dougherty.

I truly don't know, but since *anything* is possible I thought I'd bring up
one point in case someone tells you how :)

Even if it can be done you might want to rethink it from a different
perspective. People are 'funny' about things like that & "If *her* name is
printed larger than *my* name they must think she is more important!" is the
type of trap you're setting for yourself. Worse, nobody will come right out
& say so, but it will surface in lost sales/customers, future
attendees/participants, or whatever.

I agree with Taz.

You should make all The names exactly the same and exactly the Same
Style (Bold, Bold Italic, etc). You should also make the company names
exactly the same size. What I would do is create a List in word and
Type the names Out exactly as they are sent in. Then increase the size
on all, exactly the same amount.

If you need to make a distinction at all say for Full members or
Associate members or Student or what ever use a different Color for the
names.

I attend a yearly Convention for an electronics group I belong to. You
have no idea the headache you get into when something is perceived as
looking bigger or better or smaller or not as good. I don't care who it
is. People have egos.
