Name box too small

Using Excel 2000, is it possible to change the size of the name box?

I have a spreadsheet with a number of named ranges, some of which are too
long to display fully in the existing name box. I can't distinguish between
some of them as the first part of the names are the same.

workbook-specific solution. I had been looking for a built-in solution.

Make it an addin (so it's not visible) (or add it to your personal.xl*
workbook).

Store it in your XLStart folder.

It'll start each time excel starts.
