Name change of table doesn't update in form

I am using Access 2000. If I create a new table in a
database and create a query, form or report based on that
table, if I change the name of the table the source
properties change in those queries, forms and reports. It
works for me if I create the db using my computer.
However, I have a database that came from student files
from a text for MS Office 2000 and when I change the name
of a table none of the properties change for the queries,
forms or reports. I am in instructor and have never come
upon this before and I need the students to be able to
rename the table and the update work.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
Thank you all very much.

You should really pick a good name (and naming convention) and stick with
it. You might have name autocorrect turned off in Access on one of the PCs.
This is generally a good idea.
