name change

Hi all
When I type in my name in the document Ernie Horompo
and either hit the spacebar or the enter my name changes
to Ernie Hooeo.
This happens all the time. Checked spell checker, disabled
what ever I was able to disable. Completly uninstalled
program, wiped out any related info from registry.
Reinstalled. The same problem. It does not happen if I use
lower case letter for H like horompo, instead of Horompo.
Various tech support are puzzled by the problem.
I am using Windows 2000 professional as operating software
and Windows Office 2000 professional.
No virus, at least that is what McAfee virus checker is
telling me.
Any suggestion appreciated.
