Name Display is Wrong

When I enter the full name Mr. John Smith Doe for a new
contact the display for Full Name comes up Mr. Doe Smith
John. When I click send a letter to (using word), the
name is displayed as Mr. Doe Smith John.

I am using Outlook 2002(XP) and Windows ME.

Any suggestions??

and it made no change at all.
