Name Order When Addressing New Messages

M

Mark Malven

Whenever I access the Address Book in Outlook 2000 SP-3
(either directly or by using the TO button), my Contacts
are sorted by first name. I would like them to sort by
last name. I have changed the default "File As"
and "Full Name" order settings under Contact Options and
that has made no difference. I have also searched this
board in vain.

Any help would be most appreciated.

I can't believe you've searched this board in vain. It's posted almost
daily.
You did not specify your mail support mode.

in Corporate/Workgroup mode:
Tools menu > Services > Highlight the Outlook Address Book service > Click
Properties > Set sort order

in Internet Mail Only mode:
Tools menu > Address Book > View menu > Sort by
