Names Being Changed

Access 2002. I have a form in which my control name is
ENDDATE and the source field of the control is ENDDATE.
When I am coding in the On Update event for the control
Access keeps changing references to ENDDATE to "EndDate."
I have had this happen before with another control and
variable called RELIGION changed to "Religion." By the
way, there is not a function or procedure called EndDate
so there should be no confusion. Why are my names being
changed?

A GUESS!!!

Try turning off the Track Name Autocorrect feature. I would guess that might be
the source of the problem.

Tools:Options:General
Uncheck Track name AutoCorrect Info.
