I can create several speed dial entries via the procedure listed below and
everything is OK. When I go to dial an entry the names and numbers appear
in the list. When I go to add more names and numbers to the list via the
same procedure, however; the names are missing from the name fields on the
"Dialing Options" dialog list. After clicking "OK" to add the new names,
when I go to dial an entry there is a list of numbers; but only the newly
added ones have names before them. The older ones are just numbers. Typing
the old names into the now empty fields on the left side of the list in the
"Dialing Options" dialog doesn't help. The only way to get a full dialing
list with names and numbers is to remove all entries and start from scratch
each time. I would like to use the speed dial feature, but I am not because
of this problem. I hope someone can give me help or insight into finding a
solution. It is very frustrating. (I have Office XP SBE which has Outlook
2002.)
Thanks for any help you can give me.
From Help:
"Click Contacts.
On the Actions menu, point to Call Contact, and then click New Call.
Click Dialing Options.
In the Name box, type the name of a person or business you call frequently.
In the Phone number box, type the phone number.
Click Add."
