As usual I seem to have a problem that no one has heard
of.
Outlook 2002/XP PRO/Office xp pro/SBS2000 server with MS
Excahange server running on it.2 systems are having
problems with names in the GAL. One has 3 names that when
typed in the TO.. line and tab is pressed it puts a
dashed line under the name and the e-mail goes to where
ever not to recipient. No error generated. This same user
on one of the 3 names if they click on the TO... button
to bring up the GAL this one name is inserted in the CC
section, if you send the message this way they get the e-
mail as a CC but the TO line is stripped completly from
the header. If you do a reply or forward these 3 names
resolve correctly only acting strange on new mail.
The second system using the same GAL only has a problem
with 1 name (totally diffrent name from 3 above)it red
lines it and the e-mail again goes where ever not to
recipient, and again only in new mail.
Need a solution to this as these are the boss's systems
and the names not resolving are our internal people.
Also just was told now have a user that FLAGS e-mails for
follow up. When he goes thru dialoug to flag mail it is
no longer putting the red flag on any e-mails he tries
this on.
