NAMING AND SAVING

I have a report that I want to name and save in a folder without oparator involvement. I have concatinated a string within the report which I want a macro to extract and use it to name the report. I will then output the report to a link which is pointing to a specific folder. (The link is in the table from which the report is based). Is this possible with macros that are in Office 2003? If so can someone please explain it to me in lay computer terms.
