I am haiving problems sending and receiving e-mails through Outlook
2002 because of Norton Antivirus 2004. When I boot the PC with NAV and
NIS disabled then I have no problem sending and receiving. But, this
isn't a viable, long-term solution as I obviously need virus
protection.
When NAV is enabled I can send and receive once after booting but
subsequent sned & receives result in a server timeout error message.
Confusingly, this only seems to happen if NAV/NIS is enabled at start
up – if I enable it after having used Outlook then I seem still to be
able to send and receive.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Guy.
