Navigation bar compability issue

I am trying to help a friend create a small web site, and I am having
problems with the navigation bars. It works in IE but not in
Netscape/Mozilla or Opera.

Is there some workaround for this?

Thanks for the response.

We use Publisher 2003, no SP applied.
The web adress is www.alltradegolf.se
I am using Mozilla 1.7. The version of Opera that my friend tried I
don't know. Everything works in latest status IE6.

In Mozilla and Opera the navigation bar is shown (at the bottom of the
page) but doesn't act as hyperlinks - nothing happens when I try to
click them and the mouse cursor doesn't change when I move it over the bar.

Version 2003 is built to support IE pretty much exclusively.

Under tools, options, you can turn off support of VML and PNG to see if that
helps to support the non-IE browsers.

The turning off of those 2 settings is the only thing you can do in 2003 to
'dumb-down' the code.

That is total crap about only working with IE. For starters, it is probably
violative of certain settlements M$ has entered into with the government.
Interestingly, Publisher 2000 works quite well with most any browser (granted,
it takes some tricks to work well with Nutscrape 4.7).
