Navigation bar disappears when previewing website

My website (created in publisher 2007) was previewing OK but now when I
preview it both bottom and vertical navigation bars are not appearing. The
rest of the site seems to be fine.

I have tried to start again by creating a new template but the same thing is
happening with a brand new site.

A previous post mentions 'view status bar' but I don't know what that means.

please help! I'm trying to get online in the next week.

Talk about not reading a post well... I need to be more alert. Late night

I managed to fix my problem. It seems to be to do with IE8. I realised that
the only thing that had changed recently was that i had upgraded to IE 8. I
uninstalled it and now the web page preview works and navigation bar works
perfectly under IE7.
