navigation bar

Daniel

I am trying to sell a service on the Net (12 pages of
documentation).
I have used FrontPage 2000 to create my web. Everything
was OK until I realized the following:
My web has got only 2 levels: The Home page on the first
and all the other pages on to a second level. Obviously,
the Home page contains the hyperkinks to the other pages.

On the Home page, I created a "pay button" downloaded
from the net to process a one off payment and then re-
direct the visitor on to the second page to start surfing
my web.
But, I have just realized that on the navigation bar
every page contains a link back to the Home page. which
means that any visitor who, after having paid, would hit
the Home button would have to pay again to visit the
site.
I'm not a programer - How to create a navigation
manually, a restricted area for the ones who have paid.
Thanks

Hi Daniel,

On the home page, you could remove the Nav Bar - as the user has to pay
anyway.
On the child pages, doubleclick the NavBar and select the "Same Level"
option and uncheck the "Home Page" option. This will ensure that the
Navigation bar displayed has hyperlinks only at the same level as this page
(all other child pages) and does not show the HomePage in the Nav Bar.

Let me know if this resolves your issue.

Regards,
Vijay

Thank you Vijay but I followed your suggestion and in the
navigation bar on child pages, instead of havinh the word
Home I've got the word UP which send it back to the home
page.
Any other suggestion?
Thank you for your time anyway
I'm stuck

Hi Daniel,

Check your Navigation Structure again. All child pages (which should not
have a link to HOME) must be Under the Home page in the tree shown. Now on
the child pages, under NavBar properties select the "Same Level" option or
the "Child Pages under Home" option and uncheck the "Home Page" check box
shown there.

Regards,
Vijay
