I just published my web site at Microsoft Live. All of the links work except
the Home links. I am using Publisher2007. The nav bars were in a web template
in publisher. The Master page is blank.

When you produce web files with Pub 2007 by 'Publish to the web' by default
you will get an 'index.htm' file (your home page) and an 'index_files'
folder that contains all the other pages of your site and the supports
graphics. You elected to use 'default.htm' for your home page, which should
have resulted in a supporting folder called 'default_files'. However, it
appears that you decided to rename the supporting folder and call it
'UniverseabEarthlogo.default_files' for some reason.

Bottom line is that the link to your home page from the other pages in your
site is written as:
http://universeabovetheearth.com/UniverseabEarthlogo.default.htm
but your home page is located here:
http://universeabovetheearth.com/default.htm

You need to edit the home page navbar buttons to point to the correct
location or...

You might want to reconsider your decision to rename the supporting folder.
I suspect that this will only create additional problems for you in the
future.

I did't use the Publish to the Web option as per Microsoft Live. They told me
to name it default.htm and this recquired renaming the html file. A dialog
box came up saying if you change name it will alter relations with the other
file. I told the support at Live about this and they said go ahead. I don't
understand the 1 or 2 file requirements.

You can use 'default.htm' for the home page...no problem. But you should
also use "default_files" instead of 'UniverseabEarthlogo.default_files' for
the supporting folder. Don't simply rename the folder either. Reproduce your
web files so that the links will also be changed in the process.
