I am using a windows xp professional computer to host an intranet. I use
Frontpage to design the site. I am using shared border feature. When I
publish, link navigations bars don't show in a browser when I view the
published page in a browser. When I am publishing, the following message
comes up.
'The following pages in your website contain link bars or navigation bars
that use new navigation options. They will not display properly because the
server you are pubishing to does not suppot these features. To enable link
bars, publish your website to a server running the latest version of
frontpage server extensions or sharepoint services.'
I checked the microsoft website for help and the Technet site has advice on
how to intstall sharepoint from the XP cd. However, when I tried to, there
was no sharepoint folder in the XP cd.
How can I resolve this problem? The computer hosting the intranet has
Frontpage 2000 server extensions. Help me with either upgrading this or
installing sharepoint so I can run the intranet smoothly.
Thanks.
