Code the Form's Error Event:
if DataErr = 2105 Then
MsgBox "End of records"
Response = acDataErrContrinue
Else
MsgBox "Error #: " & DataErr
Response = acDataErrDisplay
End If

You shouldn't have to press esc. at all.

I added an Else, so that if you get other errors you will first get a
message with the actual error number, then the default Access error
message.
You can then trap that error using the method above.
