Sometimes when I open a particular report the page navigation buttons are
hidden until I use the top right buttons to shrink, then restore the report.
As with other reports in the database I am using a custom menu bar and no
toolbar, but the problem only occurs on one report. I have done compact and
repair, and I have exported everything into a new blank database, but still
the problem persists. I am using a startup form. The one observation I can
add (I got the idea from a Google groups search) is that if I set the
startup options to allow built-in toolbars then I see the page navigation
buttons, but if I disallow built-in toolbars then the navigation buttons are
missing until I do the shrink/restore trick described above. The problem
with allowing the toolbars is that I don't want them. This is starting to
look insect-like, but I don't want to jump to conclusions.
