Can't I have different setting son different computer?. I want to turn off Navigation Pane on dekstop and want to use on laptop. Can You help?

it's set in the registry, so it should be machine specific, unless you using
roaming profiles and share it between machines. :)

because it's in the registry, if you use roaming profiles, you can't prevent
it from changing.

Try using a shortcut on the desktop that uses the /folder switch - it's
supposed to start outlook with the navigation pane off.
