Navigation Pane in Calendar View

Is there any way at all to turn the navigation pane off JUST in the calendar
view module? It is a complete waste of space and is rather annoying to have
the My Calendars (which for me is completely empty except for the one
calendar I use!!!) taking up a whole chunk of space on the left side. I
know you can resize it to see less of it, but, of course that affects the
settings in the Mail view and then I can't see my folders - very, very
frustrating.

No. It's a global thing. you can open your Calendar in a new window though.
You can also add a shortcut to the toolbar to make it easier to hide or show
the Nav pane. Outlook 2007 has the ability to minimize the Nav Pane.
